Barnstaple is just three miles away and has plenty of independent boutique shops, proud local food producers selling their delicious delicacies in the Pannier Market and, of course, the town’s colourful history. It’s this mix of new and old, of modern and traditional that’s behind Barnstaple’s charm. Exmoor provides a great escape for walkers and wildlife lovers, whilst the spectacular North Devon beaches are all a short drive from your holiday cottage and provide endless sea, sand and surf for all members of the family.
