And let’s not forget foodies – those with an appetite will be spoilt for choice with the variety of food on offer, whether it’s down to the local for some true English pub grub or sitting on the riverside with piping hot locally-sourced fish and chips.

Stylishly furnished throughout and scattered with motifs of Dartmouth’s maritime history, the cottage itself sits over three levels and offers two beautifully presented bedrooms, comfortably accommodating four guests. The ground floor provides a cosy welcome, with in the cosy open-plan kitchen/living room. The living area boasts an open fire, ideal for cosy winter escapes, together with a Smart TV, whilst the kitchen is well-equipped with ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge and freezer for preparing delicious cuisine. Stairs lead onto the first floor where a spacious double bedroom and shared bathroom can both be found, with the bathroom offering both a shower and separate bath. Continuing further, a luxurious master room complete with double bed can be found on the top floor, sat under the eaves with enchanting stained-glass window above. Both bedrooms similarly offer smart TVs as well as ample storage for clothes.

With a layout such as this, typical of character properties in the area, Dancing Beggars is perfectly suited either to couples or families with an older child. We do also suggest that, due to the stairs inside the property, the property is only suitable for pre-crawling babies rather than young children. The property does, however, benefit from a small courtyard to the side of the property.

Included in the price of all bookings are bed linen, towels, complimentary Wi-Fi internet connection and all utilities, as well as a parking permit for the local car park (spaces available on a first come, first serve basis).

Baby equipment is not provided and the property is suitable only for pre-crawling babies and older children. We also do not permit smoking.
