Le Grand Bleu is ideally located for you to spend a sunny day at one of the many beaches along the southwest coast such as Bantham, Bigbury and Thurlestone all offering the best the area has to offer by way of water sports and beautiful sunny coves. Aveton Gifford is a small rural village at the head of the estuary of the River Avon in the South Hams area of the South Devon aonb. It comes with a village shop and the welcoming pub and restaurant of The Fisherman’s Rest on the outskirts. Nearby you can visit the charming market town of Kingsbridge which benefits from a range of amenities, including the Creeks End Restaurant, The Dodbrooke Inn, supermarkets, and the Kingsbridge Cookworthy Museum. Similarly, Ivybridge offers a choice of places to shop, eat and drink as well as The Watermark art gallery, Filham Park, and a leisure centre, all whilst providing easy access to the Dartmoor National Park which is a haven for lovers of walking and cycling. For a day by the sea, head to the ever-popular coastal resort of Salcombe, home to a beautiful beach, the Salcombe Maritime Museum, Salcombe Distilling Company and a picturesque harbour.
