Right in the lovely heart of Kingswear is situated this 18th century terraced cottage. With fabulous views along the River Dart and to Dartmouth, it is excellent accommodation with masses for families or couples to do in the area. The view is due to its elevated location, since you climb nearly 80 steps up from the road and, in true 18th century style, pass along in front of the neighbouring doorways to your front door. The sitting room is cosy with a traditional wood burning stove and those great views. Enjoy cooking fresh local seafood and eating in the kitchen, with its back door opening on to a little courtyard. Steep stairs head up to the two double wood-floored bedrooms, one with river view. Outside the front door, enjoy meals or drinks on your decked terrace over two levels, the perfect spot for the view, especially at the end of August when the Dartmouth Regatta unfolds in a blaze of glory. There are shops and pubs to explore in the village, plus a ferry to take you over to Dartmouth with its fascinating town life. With crabbing, walking, boat and steam train trips, Agatha Christies house at Greenway and beautiful Blackpool Sands to enjoy, you can never be bored at The Boathouse. This is a lovely location.
