Shipwrights in Salcombe is a well-received holiday cottage, praised for its spacious and well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and beautiful garden. Guests appreciate the property's proximity to local amenities and the town centre. The scenic views and secure parking are notable advantages, although parking space size and garden security are mentioned concerns.
Guests consistently describe the property as very clean, indicating high standards of cleanliness throughout the house.
The location is highly regarded for its convenience to the town centre and local shops, with the added benefit of estuary views. Parking challenges are noted, but do not significantly detract from the overall positive feedback on location.
The property is frequently described as comfortable, with special mentions of cosy beds and a warm atmosphere. Some guests noted the lack of a downstairs toilet and the need for better mattresses, slightly affecting the comfort score.
Facilities are generally praised, especially the well-stocked kitchen. However, there are comments about the need for maintenance, such as fence installation for security and updates to the TV remote controls, which suggest room for improvement.
Unfortunately we’ve been unable assess this category comprehensively enough based on the reviews we’ve received from guests about this property.
