The Old Milking Parlour is a private wing of beautiful Pollardscombe Farm. The cottage has two good size bedrooms and an open plan lounge and dining room for family and friends to relax and dine together. Outside is a sunny terrace area with views down the valley over the picturesque countryside surrounding the farm, offering a scenic base for a lovely holiday exploring the delightful South Hams, and sits just a mile from the popular village of Slapton, with two great pubs and a village shop.  Another mile on takes you to the 3 mile stretch of beach along Slapton line, and the nature reserve at Slapton ley. This pretty cottage is a great place for family and friends both two and four legged to enjoy their break.

The local area offers lots to see and do, the nearby village of Slapton has a village shop, two good local pubs, a pop up tearoom in the church, and a nature reserve offering interesting and picturesque walks. The village of Torcross sits two miles further on along the beach, with more eateries. The bustling market town of Kingsbridge is twenty minutes’ drive away with all amenities and a variety of shops to peruse, as does the historic town of Dartmouth, a thirty minute drive away. A day on Dartmoor offers spectacular scenery and walks as does the South West Coast Path. For those wanting a day of fun Woodlands leisure park has both indoor and outdoor activities. With much to experience in the area guests will want to return to The Old Milking Parlour again and again.

Accommodation: Door from terrace area into kitchen with double electric oven and ceramic hob, washing machine, fridge freezer. Lounge one two seater and two chairs, TV, dining table with seating for 4, small hall with door to the side walkway and door to twin bedroom, two 3ft beds, TV. From kitchen door into double bedroom, 5’ kingsize bed and TV, further door from kitchen leads into small boot room and into the bathroom WC, hand basin, bath with shower over and heated towel rail, shaver point. Underfloor heating throughout.

Outside: Gravelled terrace area with views over the countryside surrounding, table and chairs for 4, a bench for guest use is also situated by the stream on the other side of the drive.
