Although situated in a tranquil and rural location, Blackpool Sands, reputedly one of Britain's best beaches, is only a mile away and the beautiful coastal town of Dartmouth, with its popular marina and stunning castle, is less than 5 miles away.

Had a lovely week in Garden Cottage. Booked the cottage the night before we arrived after being let down when we arrived in Devon by another company. Sue was great emailed us all the documentation and information that we needed within the hour. Quintin rang us and made sure we were OK and when we arrived the next day we enjoyed the scones, jam and clotted cream and wine. The cottage was lovely, soft beds, fluffy towels and Quintin kept in touch to make sure there were no problems. The cottage is in a lovely place Blackpool sands just down the road, me and my husband walked there and back down the lanes. Dartmouth is easy to get to we used the park and ride so much easier. Caught the steam train to Paignton and had a ride over to Salcombe so may places to get to. The Sportmans Arms do a lovely carvery. All in all we had a good week and the weather wasn't bad either.
