Since this was once a fisherman’s cottage, the great attraction here is the boaty life going on all around and you can join in by arranging a mooring pontoon opposite the cottage for your own boat. You can also enjoy boat trips and fishing trips right here. For children, this is seaside heaven, with the great beach, pier, skate park, play park, crazy golf and all sorts of pubs and restaurants to eat at. For venturing further, take the ferry to Shaldon or catch a train from the station. Haldon Hills Forest Park offers thousands of acres for walking or cycling for all abilities.
