It was so peaceful and in such a lovely area. Really convenient for visiting a large area of North Devon and having the nice little town of Great Torrington nearby with a good range of shops and takeaways as well as great dog walks was brilliant. We were met on arrival by Richard, the owner, who was really friendly and cheerful and made us feel welcome from the start. Having big grounds to walk our dog was fantastic and despite the weather being mixed to say the least we walked around the grounds every day. The cottage was very well equipped and the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and the cottage was cosy. Our only slight gripe was we found the sofas a bit uncomfortable as the backs weren't that high but it's personal taste and others might disagree but we would definitely recommend the cottage to anyone and hopefully we'll stay again in the future.
