Situated within the Blackmore Vale, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, little Forget-me-not is located in the pretty village of Hazelbury Bryan, and the perfect base for exploring the exceptional countryside all around.
At the heart of the village of Hazelbury Bryan is Forget-me-not, a first floor annexe to what was historically the Old Causeway Bakery. The village of Hazelbury Bryan comprises seven separate hamlets of Kingston, Wonston (and Pleck), Pidney, Partway, Woodrow, Droop and Park Gate, with this unusual arrangement being somewhat unique to Dorset.
Whether you want to relax and unwind or venture out to explore the wonderful countryside or nearby coast, this cosy property is ideal for single guests or couples. With all first floor accommodation, Forget-me-not has a well-equipped kitchen with an electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge and microwave. There is a comfortable sitting area with a sofa and coffee table, a dining table with two chairs, and doors to the balcony where you can sit and enjoy morning coffee, or a tasty lunch whilst admiring the views. The double bedroom also has a door to the balcony, and there is an en-suite bathroom with shower over to complete the accommodation.
The village pub The Antelope Pub is just a few yards away, and The Red Barn Spar shop is just a short stroll away, making the location of Forget-me-not very convenient for your relaxing Dorset break. Within easy reach are the popular market towns of Sturminster Newton, Blandford and Dorchester, and the famous Jurassic Coast is a pleasant drive away.

We've had a lovely few days exploring this beautiful and historic county. Kingston Lacey, T.E. Lawrence's house at Clouds Hill, walking in the footsteps of the ancients in the stunning countryside, lunch at the Hall and Woodhouse Brewery, dinner at The Brace Of Pheasants at Plush were all highlights. Thank you so much to our welcoming and friendly hosts, Amanda and David, who have made 'Forget-me-not' such a great place to stay. We hope to return one day.

We have had a lovely holiday in this area, managed to get to all the areas we had planned. Favourites were Portland Bill (great cafe) Chesil, Sherbourne and Shaftsbury. Forget-me-not was excellently situated for exploring the area, the balcony was well used at the end of the day. The apartment was comfortable, compact and clean. Thank you
