West Bay features a quaint harbour, sandy beach, dramatic cliffs and coastal scenery, and is also the scene of the TV hit series ’Broadchurch’. West Bay is located on the stunning unesco World Heritage Jurassic Coastline, England’s first National Heritage Site, which runs from Swanage to Exmouth. Amble into West Bay and enjoy the ambience of this lovely resort, or soak up the scenery on the beaches, where one can do some fossil hunting, swimming, coastal walking, boating or take a fishing trip, whatever takes your fancy.

The historic market town of Bridport is ½ mile away with its high street shops, supermarkets, vibrant twice weekly street market, carnival and torchlight procession, along with many other events throughout the year offering plenty of local activities. Lyme Regis is a bustling seaside town, and the picturesque village of Charmouth is renowned for its famous fossil beach, perfect for fossil hunting. Further afield are the diverse attractions of Corfe Castle, Cerne Abbas and its chalk giant, Dorchester, the centre of Hardy’s Wessex, Swanage, Wareham and Weymouth. Golf, fishing and horse riding are also available locally, and for walking enthusiasts, the house is very close to the South West Coastal Path. Beach 175 yards. Shop 1½ miles, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
