Steepleton Lodge is the perfect base for a couple visiting Dorset to explore the Jurassic coast, traditional villages and market towns. Located on the first floor this annexe is attached to the owner's property. There is an attractive lounge / kitchen / diner, with impressive floor to ceiling length windows and two Juliette balconies perfect for opening to enjoy on a summer's day.  For more inclement days the lodge has a cosy wood burning stove style gas fire in the lounge. The Dorset County town of Dorchester, with good shopping and a host of museums is around 5 miles away to the East.  Also just a short drive away is Abbotsbury Swannery and subtropical gardens and Weymouth with its traditional sandy beach and seaside attractions.   The Lodge is only a few miles from the world famous Chesil Beach and the Dorset  Heritage Coastline.  The property also has easy access to walks along the South Coast Path and Hardy's Monument (1 1/2  miles away). Venturing out of the property for groceries, there is a BP garage and shop around a mile away and The Brewers Arms serving food in Martinstown around 2 miles away.
