Although the main sandy beach in Weymouth town centre is within walking distance, the less well known but in some ways more attractive beach at Sandsfoot, with its Robinson Crusoe appeal is perhaps the nearest one being roughly eight minutes' walk away.  A short cut down the footpath directly opposite the Lodge brings you to within two minutes' walk of Hope Square.  Here you can enjoy restaurants, tea rooms and pubs. Walk through the square to reach the pretty Old Harbour.  The Lodge is very well presented and offers you a quiet holiday but within easy striking distance of all the magic that Weymouth has to offer.
