The Creamery is a traditional, detached Somerset farm cottage, which has been decorated and furnished to a good standard and is set at the end of a private lane on the owner’s organic pasture farm, Quaish Farm, which has a small flock of sheep (lambing takes place between April and May).
This holiday cottage makes a great base for visiting Somerset, with many attractions in the local area, including the small city of Wells with its cathedral, Bishops Palace, Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge and Caves. It is only 5 miles from the mystical town of Glastonbury, where you can go and see the famous Abbey and Tor. The beautiful countryside nearby provides a wide range of activities such as cycling, riding, caving and walking.
The Creamery is conveniently located for events at The Bath and West Showground, which has many events and exhibitions all year round. There is superb shopping and theatres in Bath and Bristol, and the beaches at Weston-super-Mare are 40 minutes away.
Of course, if you prefer, you can simply relax in the garden with a glass of wine and a good book, enjoying the wonderful sunsets and beautiful views that overlook Glastonbury Tor. Alternatively, take an evening stroll through the village and have supper and a quiet drink at the local pub. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
