New Fox Farm Cottages (Mallard Cottage UK33872 and Widgeon Cottage UK33873) are a great mix of country and coast, being surrounded by lush greenery yet only 4½ miles from the seaside town of Burnham-on- Sea! Each cottage is bright and spacious with an open plan living area with a sofa bed, a dining area and a well-equipped kitchen area. There is a large bathroom and the spacious double bedroom has a built-in wardrobe. Outside, each cottage has its own private, gated sunny garden area, as well as use of a large orchard opposite for games or just to stroll around.
These are the perfect retreats whether you are a couple, friends or families looking to holiday together but maintain a sense of privacy - New Fox Farm has it all! Within a 5-minute walk of the cottages is a pub, a restaurant and the local cider farm with fabulous home made cider. The beaches of Burnham and Brean can be reached in under 10 minutes by car or head slightly further to Weston-super-Mare for a day out on the pier! Highbridge, with its shops, is only 2 miles away, or the larger town of Bridgwater is just 15 minutes’ drive. Cheddar, with its famous gorge and the ancient historic town of Glastonbury, are both under 30 minutes away by car. Beach 4½ miles.

We have been on doggy holidays for over 30 years but first time we have arrived and was locked out. After 5 hour drive we had to phone to get password numbers to key lock.Also VERY unusual not to have some sort of greeting pack, usually varies from simple greeting card and basic tea and biscuits up to local wine and cheese plus bread. NOT necessary but is usual.Also not once did we get a knock to see if all OK?Finally, the bed was shot and we had to resort to the sofa bed!

Great location for exploring local attractions. Comfortable cottage. Lovely outside sitting area and space for dogs to wonder. Pubs and shops within easy reach. Lovely hosts, even offered to get a bit of shopping for our arrival. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
