Step onto the beautiful tiled floor that warms you with underfloor heating and take in the attractive décor, noticing first the bright and quirky green glass kitchen worktops, contrasting well with the sleek white units, and within this compact space you can still whip up some great dishes using the quality appliances including a 2-ring hob and an electric oven. Tucked in the corner next to the classic kitchen dresser is a dining table and chairs, overlooking the window, so a perfect spot to sit down for breakfast and a coffee as you wake up with the morning sunlight flooding in. A lovely mix of old and new creates an interesting decor with an amazing mural of abstract woodlands adding further vibrancy. Beneath the exposed wood beams and the modern glass light fitting, a brown leather sofa awaits you to get snug with your feet up before the wall-mounted TV, while the electric stove adds extra warmth on a winter evening. Tucked past the mural is the double bedroom area, with a calm ambiance and ample storage for your belongings, you will take pleasure in winding down at the end of the day here. There is also an apple orchard with a paddock with a wild flower meadow to enjoy. Venture into Malmesbury, where you will be spoilt for choice by the pubs and restaurants that await you, as well as the selection of shops for picking up the essentials as well as Malmesbury Abbey on the fringes of the Cotswolds, a 12th century abbey with an on-site cafe to enjoy. Discover the nearby towns of Tetbury and Cirencester with its fine shops and eateries, as well as the larger cities of Bath and Bristol. There are also several important country houses close by including Badminton, Highgrove and Cirencester Park. The Cotswolds itself offers a wealth of opportunity for avid walkers and cyclists. Great Somerford is a delightful village found in Somerset resting in the middle of two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Cotswolds and the North Wessex Downs. Within the village there is a pub and a few shops where you can find the essentials, with part of the village resting on the River Avon. The larger town of Chippenham is not far and can provide a wider choice of shops, pubs and restaurants.
