The village is also home to a local equestrian centre (1 mile) offering horse riding lessons and hacks. A little further inland, visit the Alton Water Centre on the edge of the Alton Reservoir (4.5 miles), a place for guided expeditions in kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding and more.
