The Withies, a spacious cottage recently extended and refurbished with lovely views of the sea, river and marshes from the balcony and decking, is situated in the south of Aldeburgh near the Georgian High Street. The town is famous for its annual music festival in June held at Snape Maltings and founded by Benjamin Britten, but there is also sailing, golf and lovely Suffolk countryside for walks.

A superbly appointed property, a real home from home with added luxury! Well equipped for all dining needs. Lots of crockery to make it a genuine self catering experience. The garden was a lovely retreat and beautifully maintained. We had a wonderful week.

Great property, a credit to the owners. They have done a wonderful job of the renovation. I must also comment many frontage properties in Aldeburgh have got greedy in the rental costs. The Withies has kept it sensible which means we will return many times.
