Harley Apartment in Bishops Castle is praised for its cleanliness, central location, and suitability as a base for exploring Shropshire. Guests appreciate the proximity to shops, pubs, and scenic walks. While some mention a comfortable stay, others note issues with the bed and noise. The well-equipped kitchen and thoughtful touches like walking brochures are highlighted, though some minor maintenance issues are mentioned.
Most guests found the apartment to be very clean, with only one report of dirty cutlery. The overall impression is that the property is well-maintained in terms of cleanliness.
The central location on the High Street is highly appreciated for its convenience to shops, pubs, and local attractions. Parking is generally not a problem, and the town is a great base for walking and exploring.
Guests find the apartment comfortable overall, but there are mixed reviews about the bed's comfort and some noise issues. The apartment is considered cosy by some, but others had concerns about the heating and the bed size.
The apartment is well-equipped for self-catering, with a good kitchen and smart TV. However, some guests noted a lack of oven trays and issues with WiFi. The steep stairs are also mentioned as a downside.
While guests appreciate the walking brochures and hand sanitiser, there are no mentions of gifts, so it is not possible to assess the thoughtfulness in terms of gifts. Therefore, this score is set to null.

The owners only lived a door away but were very unobtrusive but welcoming and friendly in their dealings with us. The apartment looks out onto the main street which was very prettily decorated for Christmas. There are lots of pubs and all were very welcoming with the locals wanting to chat to us. We had a wonderful week.

Nice accommodation in a good location.

..with walks from the door and close to Offa's Dyke, Shropshire Way, Stiperstones and Long Mynd. It had everything we needed, including plenty of storage space. The flat is above a shop in the High St so had all the advantages of a town centre spot within short walk of all Bishop Castle's pubs, cafes etc. The slight drawback (only because we were there in very hot weather and needed to keep the windows open) being that it was occasionally noisy and some of the locals seemed to specialise in driving cars with loud engines and/or that wouldn't meet ULEZ standards!
