A delightful, stone-built terraced cottage set on a high ridge overlooking the tiny hamlet of Cragg Vale, with breathtaking views of the valley and surrounding countryside, four miles from Hebden Bridge. This cottage is one of three first-class holiday cottages in this beautiful and undiscovered location. This Cragg Vale cottage boasts quality accommodation, including a charming master bedroom with Velux window to take advantage of the vistas, a wonderfully presented open-plan living area with full length patio doors leading to the terrace, a designer kitchen, and a lovely contemporary feel throughout the accommodation. Slump into the plush sofa or the comfy armchair in the sitting area and fully relax into your Cragg Vale holiday. Two bedrooms to choose from include a twin resting and the double under the eaves of the roof, both presented with a modern, clean finish. Visit nearby Hebden Bridge with its lively nightlife, curiosity shops and the old cinema where they serve tea and scones at the interval. Enjoy walks from the doorstep onto the nearby moorland, or, just a few miles away, take in the delights of the Bronte Moors, visit the village of Heptonstall with its two historic pubs, or explore the home of the Bronte sisters in nearby Haworth. With the bustling town of Skipton also within an easy drive, this is a superb, modern-style accommodation to be enjoyed at any time of the year.
Situated on the steep and winding Cragg Road is the hamlet of Cragg Vale. The village is 1000 feet above sea level and the area is ideal for walkers. The village of Luddenden is on the other side of the valley, with a visit to Jerusalem Farm, a nature reserve is well worth visiting. Hebden Bridge is close by and has restaurants, bars, bistros, markets, an independent cinema, art galleries, and the Rochdale Canal. Also within driving distance is the Parsonage Museum, a ride on the Worth Valley Railway and the town of Skipton.
