This beautiful house has been successfully renovated from two former cottages and is situated in the centre of the village of Bempton. This house is wonderful for friends and family wishing to explore some of the best parts of the Yorkshire Wolds, Yorkshire coast and the North Yorkshire Moors. A part of the house was once the focus of Bempton, the village shop! This lovely house has a large kitchen with a dining area where you can prepare lovely meals before relaxing in one of the two separate sitting rooms, one of which has a woodburner to sit around whilst planning your next day’s activities. There is also a sofa bed in the sitting room, ideal for extra guests, which has its own bathroom. Outside this lovely cottage is a lawned garden with patio and furniture, all ready for you to put your feet up with a good book and enjoy the stillness of the garden. This cottage is also conveniently close to a bus route, a train station and a shop and pub serving good food. The nearby RSPB Bempton Cliffs nature reserve spans almost 100 metres of high chalk cliffs, offering one of the best vantage points of the Yorkshire coast. It is a fascinating place to visit with close views of the newly born chicks, and each summer a quarter of a million seabirds descend on these cliffs. It is an awesome sight and sound. Dotted along the coast are gorgeous fishing villages and major resorts with many of them fringed with sandy beaches. Bridlington has elegant promenades, an historic harbour and a fascinating and quirky old town. Filey's crowning glory is its glorious sweeping beach with mile after mile of golden sand. All perfect days out and a joy to return to this lovely house for dining alfresco.
