With close proximity to the local amenities and a beach, where you can enjoy a morning stroll with your four-legged companion on the cliff top, as well as all the necessities required to enjoy a fuss-free, self-catered stay, 1, Old Rocket House welcomes four guests to enjoy a memorable retreat in Yorkshire. Take a moment to breathe in the fresh sea air and admire the beautiful views, and let your journey begin. Step inside your single-storey dwelling, where you’ll find two charming bedrooms, each with their own en-suite, perfect for your morning rituals. The kitchen is well-equipped and awaits your culinary creations, while the sitting room and its electric fire offers the perfect place to spend your evenings. The conservatory is a great spot for reading or simply admiring the view, and the rear garden is a sunny spot for alfresco dining - complete with a lawn, decking and furniture. The dining room has the best sea view and one more bedroom and the kitchen has good sea view too. There are two nearby cafes and a golf course opposite the house. Enjoy the scenery, then wander down to the nearby beach - the perfect place for budding adventurers! The pretty village of Flamborough occupies a superb setting, perched on a picturesque peninsula on the East Coast of Yorkshire, 4 miles from Bridlington. Housing traditional fishermen's cottages and a small selection of welcoming pubs and restaurants, Flamborough also has much to offer the rambler, historian and birdwatcher. There are spectacular cliffs, which form an eight mile stretch of Heritage coastline, and at Flamborough Head, stand two historic lighthouses, one of which is the oldest one in Britain, built in 1674. To the north of the village, the magnificent 400 feet high cliffs are home to one of the largest colonies of nesting sea birds in England. Discover the puffins at Bempton, follow the fascinating natural trails at South Landing and the wooded ravine at Danes Dyke, or explore the smugglers’ caves at North Landing.
