To get to Haworth and Leeds, as well as the Yorkshire Dales National Park, it's just a short drive from Cross Hills in the Yorkshire Dales. Shops, cafés, and other eateries line the village's bustling main street, which is home to numerous small businesses selling just about anything you might possibly need while on vacation in Yorkshire. Even further afield, Skipton is commonly referred to as the "Gateway to the Dales". 'The Railway Children,' a film from the 1970s, made Keighley, a small town in West Yorkshire, famous for its vintage steam railway. There's also the literary hotspot of Haworth, where you can tour the Brontë sisters' mansion and the surrounding moorland that inspired so many of their classic works.

The cabin was clean and cozy. Lovely gifts left for our arrival. The location is perfect for walkers as there is plenty to do within a 30 min drive. The village where the cabins are located is worth a walk along the canal too for a beer or a coffee. My reason for the trip was to stay away from Fireworks going off as I have a scared dog and this place was perfect for this. You could hear them but they were in the distance and the tv hid the noise and she was sound asleep, didn't hear them. It would have been nice if the garden area was secure, as it would have been nice to have the cabin doors open to let fresh air in the cabin as it was a lovely sunny day on one of our days there, but with two Jack Russells, I couldn't leave them open as they would have ventured off. I was surprised to how good the WIFI was in our cabin, it worked really well. Thank you for a lovely weekend, I will be looking at coming back for certain.

It was also much colder this time and the heating struggled to keep up with the demand.

Cabin had everything we needed although we didn't use the hob and the microwave was for reheating coffee! Excellent local pub with good food and plenty of take -aways, etc in Skipton. Nice walk along the canal for as far as you are prepared to walk. The weather was on our side which is always a bonus. Slept well, partly due to all the exercise (dog included) and extremely comfy bed. Hope to visit again in the not too distant future.
