The beautiful North York Moors, Dales and east coast resorts are also all within touring distance, making this an ideal base from which to enjoy a well-earned break in lovely surroundings.

The small historic village of Husthwaite lies on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, overlooking the Vale of York. Picturesque and peaceful, the village is a perfect introduction to "Herriot Country", and boasts a pub, a beautiful old Norman church and many fine old houses.
