Gorgeous cosy cottage in a lovely village. Extremely well equipped & comfortable, lots of little extras had been thought about. The cottage was decorated for Christmas & we had a nice festive surprise on arrival. Middleham has 3 great real ale pubs & friendly welcoming locals.

Location was excellent for the lovely pubs. Comfortable and clean with plenty of amenities. Great it had its own parking space. View out the front of the property was very nice.

Really lovely place to stay in a beautiful Dales village. 2 large double bedrooms and 1 smaller single bedroom. 2 bathrooms (one on the ground floor at the rear of the kitchen). Large lounge and brilliantly furnished kitchen. There is a small courtyard at the rear of the cottage. Plenty of hot water. No problem with parking. We ate at the Richard 3rd pub and also at the Black Bull. Both were excellent. We also tried the Fish & Chip shop which was very good (although not open all that often). Finally - the horses. Wow. So beautiful. Every morning they go to the Moor to work (about a 10 minute walk). Their work riders were all so friendly. A joy to behold.
