Thriving market towns including Pickering and Helmsley (both 16 miles) offer a lovely range of great independent shops pubs and restaurants or you could explore local attractions including Nunnington Hall (16 miles) Duncombe Park (17 miles) and Castle Howard (23 miles). The North York Railway has steam trains running through to Whitby (24.5 miles) on the coast. On entering this superb property a handsome entrance hall with a boot room leads you through to the generous and cosy lounge with its large open fire wood panelling comfortable seating and TV.
