The cottages have been completely rebuilt inside and have every modern comfort, leaving old features like oak beams and rough stone walls. It has some fabulous views of the surrounding countryside. From the property there is a path leading through the fields towards the old railway line and the Cleveland Way.

Entrance: Small hallway with storage cupboard.

Kitchen/Lounge/Diner: Fridge, electric cooker, microwave, washing machine. TV with Freeview, DVD, radio/CD player. Dining table and chairs.

Bathroom: Bath, shower over the bath, toilet and washbasin.

Bedroom 1: Double bed.

Bedroom 2: Full size Bunk beds,wardrobe and drawers.

Pets: Sorry, no pets.

Garden: Communal grassy sitting out area with garden furniture and children's swing.

Parking: Ample car parking space in the grounds.

Heating: Night storage heaters.

Short breaks: Not accepted at peak times.

Notes: A travel cot and high chair can be provided upon request. A welcome pack is set for your arrival. Please bring your own towels. The farm also operates the 'Pesky Husky' Trekking & Hiking Centre all year round.

Staintondale is a small village which sits near the old railway track that runs between Whitby and Scarborough and is popular with walkers and cyclists. The village hosts two unusual attractions with a llama trekking centre and a shire horse centre which is ideal for those wanting to experience something new. Staintondale has a history dating back to the Roman Empire and has links to smugglers and pirates.
