Byre Cottage in Whitby is praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and convenient location, with easy access to Robin Hood's Bay. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities and the helpfulness of the owners. While some guests suggest updates to decor and minor maintenance, the overall experience is very positive, with many looking forward to returning.
The cottage is consistently described as clean and tidy. A few mentions of cobwebs and a suggestion for a feather duster indicate minor room for improvement, but overall, guests are satisfied with the cleanliness.
The location is highly regarded for its peacefulness and proximity to local attractions like Robin Hood's Bay. Guests find it to be a great base for exploring the area.
Guests find the cottage comfortable and roomy, with plenty of space. However, there are comments about an uncomfortable mattress in the main bedroom, suggesting some aspects could be enhanced for greater comfort.
The property is well-equipped, but there are several suggestions for updates and maintenance, such as the decor, taps, and shower switch. The provision of basic supplies like toilet paper and washing up liquid could be improved.
