Lord Nelson Cottage, with lovely views of the harbour and the ruined Abbey, is situated in the coastal town of Whitby with shops and the beach close by. Whitby is famous for its explorer Captain Cook who worked as an apprentice in the town before discovering Australia, and for its busy harbour where fishing boats land their catch in the early morning. It also has fairs and festivals all the year.
