The beds were very comfortable. Both the upstairs and downstairs showers were great. I loved the fancy radio in the kitchen. We had a friendly welcome at the pub opposite. Hinderwell is an ideal location for visiting Whitby, Staithes and Robin Hoods Bay. The bus goes through the village every half hour if you wanted plan a linear costal walk. The heating was set so the cottage lovely and warm, ideal if we returned for a winter holiday.

Bus service was very good to get south to Whitby and north to Saltburn. Cottage was very clean, spacious and comfortable and the village has two good pubs, the Badger Hounds is just across the road and does excellent meals and good beer. Good area for walks both on the costal paths and further inland. A very enjoyable stay, would certainly return.

Very clean and comfortable and nicely furnished. Pretty much everything that you have in your own home for a great break. The location suited us for easy access to the area without noise and hustle. Good reserved off road parking space for a large car or two smaller ones. A bus every half an hour if you don't want to drive everywhere. Nice front garden to sit in when the weather permits. Although at the front it has enough mature shrubs to still make it private and secluded. All in all a real gem of you want peace and quite with a high standard in a great !ocation.
