Rustle up hearty meals using the electric oven and hob, to be served at the table for four, while the washer/dryer and dishwasher are an added convenience for holidays with little ones. Leading straight onto the side patio, it'll be an easy task to set up the outdoor table with tasty treats and dine alfresco. Completing the ground floor is a sleek shower room with natural light pouring in from the Skylight, marble-effect tiling, and a large walk-in shower to freshen up, while the heated rail keeps your towel warm. Suitable for those with limited mobility, Rye Cottage has a ground-floor double room with lovely touches such as feature wallpaper, ample storage, and crisp linen. The second bedroom is a twin on the first floor, equally as well-appointed with bedside lamps for night owl readers. There's plenty to do and see around Marton, with the market town of Kirkbymoorside a short drive away for convenience stores to stock up on essentials, traditional pubs, and Kirkbymoorside Golf Club. Jump in the car and head south to Flamingo Land Resort in Kirby Misperton, sure to please the younger guests, or if that's not for you, spend the day in Pickering. This historic market town sits on the doorstep to the North York Moors with Beck Isle Museum, the 13th-century Pickering Castle, and Pickering Millennium Wood being just some of the attractions! Helmsley is another must visit where Helmsley Arts Centre, the 900 year-old Helmsley Castle with a fascinating sculpture garden, and The Vinehouse Cafe at Helmsley walled Garden offer something for all tastes. Beadlam Grange Farmshop and Tea Room is on your way and an excellent stop off for local produce. Further afield, you'll find Malton and the historic city of York with plenty of attractions to choose from. Make memories with your loved ones at Rye Cottage.

Kirkbymoorside is a charming historic market town on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, halfway between Helmsley and Pickering. It's a quaint town with a lot of Yorkshire charm, and it serves as the hub for the surrounding farms and towns. There are a number of shops to choose from, including tea houses, taverns, and restaurants, as well as antique shops, and a market day is held every Wednesday. One of the very best for cleanliness and home from home. Took my 91 yr old mum away for a holiday and the cottage was perfect. Cannot thank Chris and Julie enough we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend Rye Cottage, the attention to detail was brilliant everything you needed was there. Thank you for a great week.
