Market towns can be found in Easingwold (11 miles) and Helmsley (16 miles), interesting abbey ruins at Byland and Rievaulx and the Yorkshire Air Museum in Elvington displays over 60 historic aircraft and vehicles. From Pickering (19 miles) visitors can board the famous steam train for a scenic trip through the stunning scenery of the North York Moors to the fishing port of Whitby. Shop 3 miles, pub 25 yards and restaurant 1 mile.
