In less than an hour, you can be exploring the mountains of Glencoe to the north or Inveraray to the south where you can visit Inveraray Jail and Auchindrain Museum.
Nearby, there are also ruined castles such as Dunstaffnage and Kilchurn, beautiful gardens at Arduaine and Crarae, and sites of historical interest, including Kilmartin Glen and the slate island of Easdale.
