Walk 3.5 miles into Kirkcowan to visit the local pub or drive approximately 8 miles to visit Wigtown, Scotland's designated national book town. Keep going for another mile or so to discover beautiful beaches and bays. Return home to the comfort of your inviting, riverside cottage after a long day's fishing or walking out in the hills. Step in through the back door of the charming holiday home to find the newly finished kitchen/diner.
