Creel Cottage is a former fisherman's cottage in a terrace facing Luce Bay close to the harbour.  It has been modernised and provides comfortable and well laid out holiday accommodation for six. The cottage has a superb patio dining area with barbeque.

Port William is a popular holiday village with its charming little harbour and quiet streets.  The village has local shops, restaurant and hotel.  There are plenty of walks from the village and access to a pebble beach with superb views over Luce Bay to the Isle of Man, Mull of Galloway and on a clear day to the Mourne Mountains. 

Scotland is steeped in history so there are numerous historical and archaeological sites in the vicinity but of note and well worth visiting are Isle of Whithorn, Wigtown and Bladnoch Distillery, Logan Botanical Gardens and Mull of Galloway Lighthouse.   If more strenuous pursuits are required then as you would expect there are numerous golf courses, opportunities for walking and watching wildlife, cycling trails and mountain biking opportunities in the Forestry Woodlands.   All these are available close to the property and also further afield for those looking for greater variety.   The seaside location of course means water sports are readily available including fishing, be it sea, loch or river. 

Whether you are looking for a peaceful retreat or busy family holiday Creel Cottage provides a superb location from which to explore South West Scotland.
