Set within 12 acres of farm and woodland, with a short woodland walk direct from the door, this semi-detached cottage, next to the owners’ home, provides a tranquil holiday base from which to explore the beauty of Ayrshire and south west Scotland.

Ayrshire offers unspoilt scenery and a varying coastline with the Ayrshire Coastal Path, 100 miles along one of the finest panoramic coastlines in the British Isles, easily accessed.

Inland, there are gardens and castles to visit, riding, racing, a choice of golf courses and several country parks to visit. Culzean Castle (owned by the National Trust for Scotland) being Ayrshire’s most popular tourist attraction, has a network of wooded trails passing along the beach. Day trips to Ireland can be taken from Stranraer, and both Glasgow and Edinburgh can easily be reached for a day out.
