Montrose House, a former listed period mansion house, offers a spacious ground floor apartment while Lomond View Cottage offers a good standard of accommodation with conservatory overlooking the loch. Just 7 miles along the delightful lochside, Ben Lomond awaits, towering over the shores of Loch Lomond and offering spectacular panoramic views. The sheltered harbour at Balmaha is ideal for sailing and water sports, with walking and hiking enthusiasts also well catered for. A little further afield there is Balloch Castle Country Park where you can take a gentle stroll through the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. Magnificent scenery, opportunities for water sports, scenic villages and castles are all within easy reach. Drymen, 4 miles, has a hotel/restaurant, 18-hole golf course and shops. Loch Lomond Shores for designer shopping is within easy reach. Close by, Stirling and Glasgow make for a good day out. Shops and pub 100 yards.
