Situated on the outskirts of the town of Beauly and within easy reach of Inverness, this homely annexe serves as a fantastic base from which to explore the Highlands of Scotland. The famous Loch Ness hosts boat trips and sightseeing tours in the area, and Beauly itself is a beautiful town with shops and restaurants to enjoy. Beauly Priory is an ancient monastery that dates back to around 1230, and this ruined church is well worth seeing during your stay here. Fishing is also available on the River Beauly (by permit only) and in the Beauly Firth, so keen anglers are certainly catered for here and in many of the rivers and lochs in the surrounding area. Entrance to the annexe is via the sliding patio doors, where you walk in to the lounge/bedroom area. The comfy double bed folds away completely against the wall, giving guests extra space when it is not required. There is a Smart TV on the wall opposite the sofa, so you can easily relax and wind down in the evenings with the option to stream a movie. The sliding patio doors are fantastic for enjoying sunrises and sunsets, and at night time you can draw the curtains that run the length of the wall, instantly making it feel cosy. The kitchen area is compact yet contains everything you could need during your stay with an electric oven, induction hob, fridge with ice compartment and microwave. The shower room with shower and WC is of a decent size and has additional handrails to aid the infirm. Outside the patio doors is a small decked area with seating, where you can enjoy the serene farmland surroundings. The annexe is attached to the owners home, who can be on hand if required during your stay. There are numerous types of animals in the fields surrounding the property, including sheep, goats and cows. There is plenty of parking available and the garden is open with plenty of space to roam. Need to know: 1 sleeping area with double bed. 1 shower room with shower and WC. Electric oven and induction hob, microwave and fridge with ice compartment. Smart TV in lounge. Small decked area with seating open garden. Ample off road parking available. Shop 6 miles and pub 2 miles. Regret no children or infants.
