Often compared to a Bavarian Mountain resort, the picturesque spa village of Strathpeffer owes its growth to the discovery of water springs during the 1700s, and was declared in 1819 to be the healthiest drinking water in Britain! The original Spa Pavilion has been magnificently restored after a period of disuse and now serves as a venue for a variety of events, including concerts, dances, dramas and exhibitions.

The house was great and the position across from the Loch fabulous. We loved having access to go out boating and on our paddle board on the Loch. The hosts were on hand and very helpful if we had any questions. Lots of lovely walks in the local area and we had a day trip to look for the Loch Ness monster.

Hosts were very welcoming, with any requests being met immediately and they even offered us a lift to a restaurant in town so we didn't need to take our Goldwing Trikes out again. Amazing, thanks so much again Michelle :) Cobblestones cottage is in an ideal location for local villages / towns which give access to beautiful roads and the best of the Highlands. It has views over the loch where you can fish, row a boat and swim or simply watch in awe the people being braver than you!
