There are lots of interesting walks, towns, view points all within easy reach. For children the vast beach at Dorncoh is ideal, for Dolphin watching Channory point is a key area for surprisingly close up views of these wonderful creatures. Skywards look for eagles, red kites and buzzards. If you are as lucky as we were the local Sparrowhawk may visit the garden.

(Perhaps the owner could put a number 2 on the door/gate?). We loved how some of the original features such as the staircase and fireplaces had been retained. The location allowed us to visit Inverness and Culloden to the South, Dunrobin Castle to the North and Loch Ness to the West. Thanks to Ruth for the welcome basket of goodies, milk and butter in the fridge and excellent communication.
