Dine together at the intimate dining table or head outside to dine alfresco with the peaks of Ben Wyvis providing a beautiful and unique backdrop; later indulge in a dip in the bubbling hot, the perfect way to end the day! When the stars fill the sky overhead, travel back inside to wash off the day in the ground-floor shower room before heading to the first floor to slope off to sleep in the king-size bedroom which also boasts a handy en-suite shower room. Located on the northern side of the Black Isle peninsula, between the Moray and Cromarty firths, is the small village of Culbokie, which consists of a mix of nice new houses and traditional stone cottages. The Cromarty Firth can be seen in the distance from this peaceful village, which is home to a single street where you'll find a village store and an inn serving hearty pub fare. Cromarty, Rosemarkie, and Dingwall are all worth the pleasant drive for more extensive shopping and a selection of good tea shops and restaurants, just what you need after a brisk walk in the country or along the coast. There are some of the best golf courses in the world here, as well as a number of top-notch distilleries, and the surrounding landscape is perfect for outdoor recreation like hiking and biking. Glen Affric's mountain ranges, as well as the area's spectacular lochs and stunning coastline, are just a few of the nearby attractions.
