This delightful cottage is the ideal choice for a romantic break in the amazing Highlands of Scotland.. Ground Floor:

Kitchen: With electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine and tiled floor.
Bedroom: With double bed.
Shower room: With shower cubicle, toilet and heated towel rail.. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Initial fuel for wood burner included. External utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.. Enclosed rear decking with garden furniture. Bike store. Private parking for 1 car; additional on road parking. No smoking. Please note: There is fenced and gated access to the river.. Enjoying a quiet setting within the popular village of Drumnadrochit. Nestled just a few minutes walk from the centre of the village, Riverside Cottage has been furnished and equipped to a good standard to ensure as comfortable and relaxing holiday as possible. The cottage makes a central base for exploring this lovely part of the Northern Highlands, coupled with easy access to the east and west coasts. The bustling village of Drumnadrochit, set on the shores of Loch Ness and at the head of Urquhart Bay, has a number of good restaurants, pubs and is also the home to the Loch Ness Centre and the ruins of the Urquhart Castle. There are many attractions of scenic and historical interest within easy reach including Culloden Battlefield, Fort George, Cawdor and Brodie Castles, or take a trip along the Malt Whisky Trail – the only one of its kind in the world! Visit some of the beautiful, scenic fishing villages of the Moray coastline – voted one of the world’s top 20 coastal destinations! Inverness, which is the capital of the highlands, is only 14 miles away, where you will find a large variety of shops, fine restaurants, pubs, theatre, museums and galleries. Amongst the many activities available are boat trips and watersports on Loch Ness (it’s a good monster spotting area) and the Moray coast, mountain biking and walking in the many forest trails. It is also a great place for photography with a huge abundance of birds and wildlife on the doorstep. For the less energetic, sit back, relax and unwind in front of the multi-fuel burner and make happy memories of your holiday in this beautiful part of the Northern Highlands. Shop 500 yards, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
There is access to a fenced and gated river in the garden. Washing machine and tumble dryer are in an outbuilding adjacent to the garden.
