The open plan living area benefits from a well-equipped, fitted kitchen and a spacious dining and sitting area with doors leading out onto a fabulous decked balcony. On pleasant days this is a perfect spot for a quiet coffee or pre-dinner glass of wine whilst looking out across the Sound of Mull! The woodburning stove in the sitting area will ensure cosy evenings in after an active day, or a stroll to the local hotel is where you will experience the friendly ambience of village life. The area has much to offer visitors who will enjoy exploring this unspoilt and tranquil westerly corner of Scotland. The area is a true escape for those who just want to relax, however it is a wildlife spotter's paradise so have your binoculars at the ready to ensure you do not miss a golden eagle as is passes overhead. Just a short drive away is Sanna Beach which is a must for all visitors and is quite breathtaking in all weathers too. This superb holiday cottage is very special and will not disappoint.
The pretty village of Kilchoan is situated on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula, the most westerly village in mainland Britain. The village has a shop, pub and restaurant, and from Mingary Pier there is a regular ferry service across the Sound of Mull to Tobermory, on the Isle of Mull. The area close by has quiet sandy beaches and an abundance of wildlife, and a short drive away is Ardnamurchan Point, where you will find a lighthouse and visitor centre.
