This beautiful detached house is located on the outskirts of Muir of Ord, a spacious haven with forest strolls from the doorstep and open grounds, ideal for dog walkers. Well-suited for families or a group of friends, Benview House was designed with all ages in mind and ensures a memorable holiday experience all-year-round. The cosy living room is your own little escape after an eventful day; home to a collection of sofas and front-facing views, which bring the outside in. Continue your evenings in the country cottage kitchen, centred by an island, with lovely French doors which open up to a decked area, should you wish to stroll outside for some fresh air. The kids will be kept entertained by the delightful snug and everyone can make the most of the garage, which doubles up as a games room, providing guests with a pool table and table football where a fun hour or two can be spent. Five bedrooms are divided across the retreat; the first double is located on the ground floor and comes impressively with an en-suite spa bath and corner shower. Three further rooms lie on the split level first floor, all benefitting from access to a Jack and Jill shower room. A few more steps lead to a super king-size room, elevated by Velux windows and tied together with a thoughtful shower room. You will be spoilt for choice from one night to the next. When the sun is shining, wander outside to the garden, enclosed to the rear with pathways leading to common parkland with pond, woodland and walkways, or venture further afield for more to see. The whole area known as ‘The Black Isle’ has some of the prettiest scenery in Scotland, with stunning glens where flora and fauna abound. Glen Affric, a National Nature Reserve, has been named the most beautiful of all the Scottish glens, and is an ideal location for walkers and cyclists with quiet tracks leading you off road and deep into the glen. Muir of Ord has a high street and good hotels, and just a few miles away the town of Beauly offers a quality shopping experience where visitors can find the finest Scottish tweeds, crafts as well as smart boutiques and restaurants. The whole destination is known as ‘The Black Isle’ and has some of the best scenery in Scotland.
