Whilst the bungalow is in an excellent location with great local restaurants, shops, beach, etc in Nairn we did experience problems with it. We had a 10 month old baby with us and were very concerned about the state of the carpets when we arrived, i.e. human/dog hairs and various stains. After travelling for 5 hours we spent 2 hours cleaning these so that it was safe for the baby to crawl. We raised our concerns about the terrible hoover and associated smell from it with the owners the same day. We also raised other concerns re security of the property and received no response. We think we should have been offered a partial refund as the bungalow was expensive to rent given the state it was in.

We had a lovely week in the bungalow. The fittings etc were quite dated. As the holiday was in the summer, we didn't have a problem, but we weren't sure how warm it would be in the colder months. But everything was functional and it's a great location to explore the local area.No WiFi so shock horror - we had to talk to each other!
