The area is renowned for its excellent selection of walks, mountain bike trails, horse riding, golf and fishing along with a variety of watersports including white water rafting, canoeing and boat trips – hopefully you will catch sight of the Moray Firth bottlenose dolphins on your trip. The Moray coastline was voted amongst the top 20 in the world for coastal destinations and with its quaint coastal villages along with miles of white sandy beaches, it is a well deserved award. Take a trip along the only malt whisky trail in the world with two of the distilleries close by – Dallas Dhu and Benromach or visit the shopping outlets Brodie Countryfare and Logie Steading for some retail therapy. Slightly further afield you can visit the Highland capital of Inverness, the beautiful Loch Ness or visit some of the areas historical sites including Culloden Battlefield, Fort George and Brodie and Cawdor Castles. The Cairngorm National Park is only a 25-minute drive away with its five ski resorts, a funicular railway and a host of attractions and activities for the whole family to enjoy.
