About the property
Glen View Cottage is a characterful property set on a private, family-run estate in the heart of the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. A traditional 19th century whitewashed stone cottage, complete with walls that are three feet thick, it has been sensitively upgraded to include all the home comforts you'll ever need. The views from the front of the property take in the stunning mountains of Glen Dochart.
The space
Glen View is a semi-detached cottage situated in the private courtyard of the estate and features an ‘upside down’ layout with the living area on the upper floor and the bedrooms at ground level. One bedroom features a king size bed, whilst a second bedroom comprises a single bed and a double bed which makes it a good configuration for a family room. There is one bathroom at the property and this has a bath with a power shower over it. Upstairs you will find a modern kitchen equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, Bosch ceramic hob, fridge, oven and a microwave. There is also a living and dining area with a sofa, dining table and chairs, as well as TV with SKY package and Blu Ray DVD player.
Garden furniture is stored inside the front entrance porch, ready to be put outside to enjoy the views over the glen.
Guest access
Guests are invited to check-in remotely before travelling and will receive full directions on how to reach the property.
Sustainability
Glen View Cottage features low energy electric heating throughout. The privately-owned estate on which the cottage is located attracts a plethora of local wildlife including deer and red squirrels. To help the birdlife of the area, bird feeders and boxes are situated in the grounds, so feathered friends are always easy to spot. Guests are also encouraged to recycle their food waste to make compost for use on the estate, whilst a tree-planting initiative means that you can ‘adopt’ a tree to be planted in your name.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.
Book with confidence: If your booking is affected by new Government travel restrictions which were not known at the time of booking, and you're legally unable to travel, we will arrange with the property owner to refund 100% of your holiday cost.
Security deposit: A security deposit of £100 will be charged prior to check in and returned following your stay.

The owners are very happy to welcome well behaved dogs to stay in this property but for the benefit of all their guests they require all dog owners to adhere to the following ‘Dog Rules’:-
