    • The shower constantly leaks. • The handles came off the draws in the kids room and weren't properly attached. • One of the curtains slide completely off the rail when opened as there wasn't a stopper. • The fridge was smaller than the freezer so couldn't properly store all the food I bought with me and ended up having to pour some of my milk into jugs and cups and then freezing the rest. • The junction to the main road is extremely dangerous and its only a matter of time before there is a major accident. • The kitchen cupboards are old and the doors are wonky so don't close properly. • The bathroom door doesn't close. • The TV remotes didn't work and the freesat machine didn't have enough any buttons so couldn't even control it from the box so couldn't watch the TV for the whole week (I did have a back up).

This is not 5 star accommodation and at it's price point it doesn't pertain to be. It is exceptional value for money for sure. It's warm, clean, well laid out, in a stunning location. I note some reviewers complain about the closeness of the road, this is clearly stated on the Sykes listing. A little care and attention negates this on exiting the drive. After 6 stays now, I know what I'm getting and I love the place. There is nowhere on Anglesey at this price at this level. I know as I've stopped elsewhere on the Island. I'm already planning my next visit and it will be followed by hopefully a few more this year. If you want the best then go elsewhere and pay a hell of a lot more. I'll stick with the cabin and happily so. The Lady who owns the place is lovely, we've shared text messages but hardly see her, totally inobtrusive. Phone signal may be intermittent but boy that works for me! If you visit do go and view Newborough Beach , one of the most beautiful places you can imagine. In fairness there are so many beautiful beaches on Anglesey, why wouldn't you want to visit. Once I retire I am moving to Anglesey, it's good for your physical and mental health! At home I walk nowhere, on Anglesey I walk for miles and miles the scenery, the wildlife, the people, what more can I say!

The place is not very clean, there are spider webs all over the place. The plates and glasses were dirty when we arrived and the blanket had stickers on it so hadn't been cleaned since the last guests. The water in the shower doesn't get very warm and the temperature changes during the shower from cold to hot etc. As a side note, the TV barely works, there are no board games and the wifi only just load web pages. The place is also right next to the A-road (16 feet at most) so there are lots of car noises especially in the bedroom and it make it difficult to go for a walk from the cabin, especially if you have kids, because the A-road has no space to walk on it safely. On top of that we ran out of gas after 3 days (and were blamed for it), so we spent 24h without heating, hot water and cooker as it all runs on gas. We still enjoyed our time in Anglesey, it's a very nice place to visit.
