Beudy’r Garnedd cottage has won the Anglesey Tourism Award for two consecutive years and is particularly suitable for less able guests. It is set in well kept grounds within 7 acres of beautiful open Anglesey countryside, with superb views over to the mountains of Snowdonia. This is close to popular Menai Bridge, 4 miles, from where you can access the mainland, the stunning beach at Newborough, 12 miles and Beaumaris with its castle and Victorian Gaol, 23 miles.

The cottage: this single storey cottage has been designed to accommodate people requiring wheelchair access. This includes a low threshold at the main entrance and wide doorways throughout. Central heating.

The Living Room: is an open plan room with comfortable sofas and chairs, electric fire and Freeview TV and WiFi.

The Kitchen/dining Room: is part of the open plan living space. The fitted kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The dining area has a table and comfortable chairs for 4.

Bedroom 1: a double bedroom with en suite shower/wet room (with grab rails)

Bedroom 2: a twin bedroom

Bathroom 1: this shower room (wet room) has a walk-in shower with WC and basin, shower chair and raised toilet seat.

Bathroom 2: the family bathroom has a bath with shower above, WC and basin.

Outside: the cottage is set within 7 acres of grounds. The garden has a patio area and lawn with garden furniture and a barbecue. Private parking area.

Wheelchair accessible

There is parking for on flat paved tarmac surface with easy access into the property via a ramp of around 5 to 10 degrees with a handrail.

The main door is 840mm wide and all internal doors and corridors are 750mm wide

As the property is all on one level including, kitchen, living area, bed and bathroom.

The garden is to the rear and accessed by wheelchair via the front entrance and side path

All door handles and light switches are at a lower level

The bed is accessed from the right for a wheelchair

Room under the bed for suitcases and space under the dining table for a wheelchair

A shower chair is available for the wetroom and incontinence pads can be safely disposed of

There is a bath and shower.

Additional mobility equipment can be hired locally by arrangement
