Enjoy an early morning stroll down through the village to the estuary and the golden sandy beach of Llansteffan, with picture postcard views out across Carmarthen Bay towards Ferryside and the Gower Peninsula. Within this quaint village be sure to stroll around and discover all that it has to offer with a shop, restaurants and the ruins of Llansteffan castle - here you can step back in time and take in some breathtaking views across the bay below the castle, all within walking distance.

This spacious, detached house has been in the same family for many generations and in 2017 was thoughtfully renovated by its current owners, retaining all the charm and character of this wonderful property. On the ground floor you can enjoy cooking that special meal in the open plan kitchen/dining room. The contemporary style kitchen is finished to a good standard and is a great social space complete with an original feature fireplace. After a great family meal together enjoy curling up on the sofa in front of the focal wood burner and relax those tired muscles. On the first floor each spacious bedroom has been lovingly decorated and comprises two kingsize bedrooms, and two rooms with a single bed. There are superb sea views from 2 of the bedrooms, down over Llansteffan and the beach. In the evenings enjoy dining al-fresco from the elevated patio area where you can take in the sea air and those truly wonderful views.

Traveling east from Arfryn take a drive to Laugharne, the home town of famous poet Dylan Thomas, where you can visit his writing shed, home and his favourite public house. Further along this beautiful coastline are Pendine Sands, Amroth, Saundersfoot and Tenby all within a 40-minute drive and perfect for family days out, building sandcastles or sun bathing. The walled town of Tenby is really worth exploring, with its cobbled streets, stunning harbour, beaches and boat trips to see the Cistercian monks of Caldey Island. Oakwood Theme Park, Folly Farm Zoo and Heatherton World of Activities all make for a fantastic day out. Beach 300 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 150 yards.
